I had a telephone job interview today.  The position is a Senior Administrative Assistant.  I assumed that it would be halfway between a regular Administrative Assistant and an Executive Assistant.  That's what I prepared for.  Boy was I wrong.  This position was very involved, but it seemed to play on my background and a lot of my job skills.  As they were explaining the position, my mind was going ninety miles an hour trying to regroup.  It was going so fast that it crashed.  Whenever they would ask a question, my mind would go blank.  Then I would ramble on.  I can't even remember half of the stuff that I said.  At least at the end when they asked what qualifications that I thought that I could offer, I noted several things.  Maybe I redeemed myself some with those.  I originally wanted the Executive Assistant position, but I think this is better job for me.  I guess I'll just see how things go.  If they like me, I'll have a face to face interview next week.  Maybe with my navy suit and navy Ferragamo Veras, I'll get my confidence back.  We'll see.

I hope everyone has a great Friday.

Good for you on soldiering through the interview and still being able to offer qualities at the end that made you a good candidate for it. I think they are *always* daunting, at least they were for me, I can't think of a one where I wasn't sweating bullets and fighting major brain fade just because it was so nerve-wracking.

I keep thinking good thoughts for you Miss PC&T, I send along a hug too!
