I've been a bad blogger lately. I just haven't had much to report. I have been reading your blogs on a daily basis.
I can update you on my search for foundation to replace my trusty old Clinique SuperFit. After trying many samples, I have decided to switch to Chanel Mat Lumiere. It looks fabulous on my face, and it also feels great.
This afternoon, I almost went to Gus Mayer to buy a pair of Tory Burch Revas, but as I was getting ready to go, I talked myself out of it. I can't decide if I want the goldtone or silvertone logo medallion. I can't believe that all of a sudden, I had this hesitation. You see...on October 20, 2009, I had planned to go to Gus Mayer or Saks Fifth Avenue on my way home from work to try on a pair of Revas. As I was showering, I all of a sudden did not feel very well. I decided that I was going to stay home. As I was walking back to the bedroom, I fell and broke my foot. The next week, I had surgery. I could not walk on my foot for 8 weeks. Then I had to learn to walk again. For about a year, I wore Tretorns, even with dresses. I then was able to wear a couple of pairs of old shoes. Now, 2 years later, the swelling is finally gone. Now, I can wear my normal shoes. To celebrate, I want to treat myself to a pair of Revas. Which color logo medallion do you think I should get? I wear both gold and silver jewelry. I have neutral black shoes that I can wear with either jewelry.
I am looking forward to Thanksgiving. We are going to eat at my sister and brother-in-law's house. It will be us and my brother-in-law's siblings and their children. My mother is preparing hen and dressing and sweet potato casserole - she makes the one with the pecan topping. I'm baking a fudge pie and a chocolate pecan pie. I am also making a green bean casserole - not the regular with green beans, cream of mushroom soup and french fried onions. My recipe is green beans and water chestnuts topped with a mixture of cream of mushroom soup and sour cream. The final topping is grated cheddar cheese and cracker crumbs. As it bakes the soup/sour cream mixture melts into the green beans. It reminds me of the green bean casserole served at Andy's in Opelika. I ate my fair share of Andy's green bean casserole when I was a student at Auburn. For the first time in many years, I am not making a cranberry salad. My mother and I discussed that she and I are the only ones that like it, so why bother.
I hope everyone has a great Monday.

Get the gold T. I find it goes with just a little more, so they get more use.
Your menu sounds wonderful, and for the record I, too, like cranberry salad. Enjoy your holiday!
Love the blog, dont think you have to do anything in order to report, love your observations and views on general things.
