I've been trying to get things organized. Last week I helped my mother get her house in order for fall.
Last Sunday, I received a wonderful compliment from a young lady at church. She commented on how stylish I looked. I never think of myself as stylish. I had on a black Pendleton Lana skirt, a camel J Crew Jackie cardigan, pearls, Kate Spade bow earrings, black Tory Burch Revas, and a black Longchamp LePliage. It was sealed when she saw me put away my Kate Spade wallet.
In the past couple of years, I have become challenged in the casual attire department. I either have professional work clothes or extremely casual clothes, such as sweats and turtlenecks. Tonight, I managed a decent casual outfit. I wore LL Bean jeans, a red cotton turtleneck sweater, pearls, a gold heart pendent, red Kate Spade bow earrings, black Tory Burch Revas, black Tory Burch satchel, and my black Burberry quilted jacket. Maybe, I have started to conquer my challenges.
I hope everyone has a good Sunday. I'll try not to stay away so long.

What a sweet and well-deserved compliment!
For casual- just put any top with jeans. I wear a lot of blazers over simple long sleeve shirts with jeans and ballet flats. That's pretty much my fall uniform.

It's so nice to get an unexpected compliment. : )
I second Preppy Pink Crocodile on the casual wear. I've recently discovered that anything I would normally wear with dress pants (cardigan, blazer, etc.) looks casual and chic with jeans and boots or ballet flats. Also, a simple long sleeve shirt like KK mentioned with a scarf is also casual and chic.
