I got tagged by Preppy Engineer to post 5 quirky things about me. Since I posted this a few weeks ago, I'll repost for all of you who missed it.

1. As the name of my blog implies, I still drink TaB. For those of you who are younger, TaB is a diet soft drink that came out in the 60's and was extremey popular in the 70's and early 80's. Diet Coke came along and knocked TaB off its throne.

2. I'm a very picky eater. I only eat certain brands of certain foods.

3. When I go on vacation, I would rather drive than fly. I have driven to Maine several times and to Toronto from Alabama. My BFF MAB have some really interesting stories about adventures we've had on the journeys.

4. I don't like fish or seafood of any kind. Don't even want to look at it. It makes me want to gag.

5. Even though I am very particular about my appearance, some of my clothes are several years old. I have a hard time finding pants and skirts that I like, so I just wear the old ones. I wear some skirts that are 15 years old. Believe it or not, they still look good.I tag whoever has not had a chance at this yet. I apologize for the formatting. I'm still working on it.

My coworker and I got railroaded into having breakfast and lunch brought in for two meeting in the boardroom tomorrow and Friday. I have to leave for work 30-45 minutes earlier, stop by Publix and get bagels, muffins, juice and diet soft drinks. It is for another department. I don't know why they couldn't handle it. This other department is going to be having more all day meetings. Their assistant is going to have to handle it after this week. She has a corporate credit card for her department. I have to pay cash and then get reimbursed. Since my immediate supervisor is the CFO, maybe I can get my reimbursement quicker. All I am supposed to do is reserve the boardroom and unlock the door. Of course, Queenie just sits at her desk and watches us pull our hair out over this. I told my coworker that I wanted us to out do the others. I am serving everything on silver trays. I will go up there and make sure that everything is replenished when it needs to be. I'm going to raise the bar.

I am so ready for the weekend. I don't have anything planned. I think it is supposed to storm all weekend. I think I may stay inside and catch up reading all of my magazines. I may venture out to Target and see what fun things that they have.

BTW, if any of you see me lurking too much on your blogs on Saturday, it's because I read my blogs from the store computer and I don't have everyone on my blogroll. I depend on some of your blogrolls to find the other blogs that I read. Thay may be my project for the weekend - to update my blogroll.

Today was a boring day. It is always slow in my area the last couple of days of the month. I stopped by Target on the way home from work. They had some of the new Madras that Tickled Pink & Green has been talking about. All they had were platters and buckets. I may go back Saturday so that I can get a better look.

I forgot to tell everyone what Queenie had on yesterday. I don't know what she was thinking. She had on a skirt that was brown with turquoise and cream circles on it, a brown tank top worn out over the skirt and a navy waistlength jacket from a pantsuit. Everyone was looking at her and shaking their head. I found out Friday that they are taking some of her duties away from her - all two of them. I don't know what she will be doing. She will be the local Market Executive's secretary, but she doesn't open his mail, answer his phone, type correspondance or schedule his appointments. I don't know how she stands to sit around and do nothing all day. I would feel guilty.

InStyle is having a Friends and Family discount on several Time/Warner magazines. Just go to the site below and check it out.

I went to Huntsville Saturday afternoon and ordered my Stephen Bonanno's. I know that the sale starts next week, but I needed to figure out what size I wear. I have very narrow feet. I usually wear a 6 1/2 or 7 narrow. I ended up with the 7 bottom and 6 1/2 top. I ordered the Palm Beach classic in Ermine/Sable. I also bought a St. Patty green Vineyard Vines polo.

I worked at the store until 2:00. The girl that relieved me came in with her 3 month old baby in his baby seat. We assumed that her mother was going to come by and pick him up in about 30 to 45 minutes. I talked to my sister a couple of times later in the evening. I assumed since my sister didn't mention it, the baby was gone. Then my sister called and asked if she came in with the baby. She said it was still there. A baby in a liquor store...that's like something out of "Sweet Home Alabama". The baby finally left at 8:30, only because the baby daddy's sister was in town and wanted to see him. She will have a talking to. I don't think this girl is working out. She never does any of the chores that she is told to do. She just sits there and works the cash register. I noticed that she plays solotaire on the computer. So, she does have some free time. Last week I went to Nashville on Saturday. She was 3 1/2 hours late to relieve my mother. She went to a goat sale that started at noon and was an hour away. She called my mother at 2:00 and said that she was still there. Didn't even apologize. What's wrong with people? She acts like she really needs the money.

Last night I worked at Relay for Life. It is such a good cause, plus my sister is on the committee. I always get teary-eyed when the survivors walk around the track. In our town, Relay for Life is like going to the fair. Different groups have tents and sell things to raise funds. One team had a China theme. A man gave rick-shaw rides to raise money. I thought that was cute. Our team sold BBQ sandwiches, popcorn and lemonade. One team sold fried Oreos. I have never heard of that. They dipped Oreos in pancake batter and deep fried them. They were really good. You know us Southerners, we love our fried food. The team also sold pinto beans, onions and cornbread. All Southerners, but me, like pintos. After all that eating, I got up and went to the Kiwanis pancake breakfast this morning. I never want to see food again...at least not until lunchtime. I'm hoping to make a trip to Huntsville this afternoon. I want to go to The Pink Pelican to order a pair of Stephen Bonanno's. I still haven't decided what color that I want. I'm leaning towards the Ermine/Sable. I want a pair that I can wear with a lot of stuff. I hope everyone has a good weekend.

My BFF MAB's father had a heart attack yesterday morning. He was supposed to have triple bypass surgery this morning, but it was postponed until tomorrow because of some enzyme in his blood. He is in very good hands and has an excellent cardiac surgeon. Birmingham has a nationaly renowned medical district. As a matter of fact, the medical industry is what keeps our economy going.

Today, even thought some executives were in town, I decided to dress a little casual. When I got to work, I noticed that everyone had decided the same thing.

I finally was able to settle my craving for Chick-Fil-A. I stopped on the way home from work and got a chicken strip salad. It was so good. I ate some of the chicken before I could get the salad dressed. Yum! My tummy is happy.

For those of you who watched "Women's Murder Club" back in the fall, there will be new episodes starting Tuesday.
